Hi I am living in Virginia and I have a vacant land in Marco Island FL.
I applied construction loan through BB&T bank to build a house and I was approved. Aug/2005 I found a builder and signed contract. I also made a deposit $61,000.00. In July/2006 because of my personal problem I asked builder to refund my deposit of $60,000.00 even. (Because they already spent $750.00 for survey,architect,stakeout..) But they ignored. I have argued for two more years and now they closed their company.(XX Home Builders INC.)
Any suggestions?
